Battery Charging Reminder

This circuit reminds you when the battery enters into the deep discharge state. It always monitor the terminal voltage of  battery, and activates a buzzer when the terminal voltage drops below 11.5 volts due to self discharge. This is an  ideal circuit to monitor the standby battery which is charging occasionally.

I am happy to know that you have constructed the circuit and used as battery monitor . Thanks for the information.

Really nice, but its very old & very simple circuit. I used this circuit in my minor project which was”INVERTER”. I used this circuit as “low battery indicator” & a signal from this circuit would shut down the inverter when the battery is fully discharged. Its really a very simple & cheep circuit for monitoring of unused batteries…….very nice.
